Some cars can still be found for less than a grand

When my friend told me that he needed to buy a new car, I had no idea how he would be able to afford it. He’s been out of work for months and needed a car to get around so that he could take a job but he only had a couple thousand dollars left in savings. Apparently he was able to find cars under 1000 dollars and it was surprisingly in good condition and drove well. I found this hard to believe so I had to see it for myself so he took me for a ride in. I was shocked to find that the car was actually really nice. Newer engines are designed to last longer than the ones that were made a long time ago. With proper maintenance and scheduled oil changes a vehicle made in the last 20 years can go well over 100,000 miles. Now he’s delivering pizzas and getting surprisingly good gas mileage.
